ITEMS: LOCATIONS, CHEATS AND HINTS

Master Ball in Silph Co.: Go directly to the third floor in Silph Co. and defeat the Team Rocket member. Enter the room on the right and use the teleport. You will now be on the seventh floor. Get the Lapras and defeat Gary. Use the teleport to reach the eleventh floor. Win the battle against Team Rocket and Giovanni, then get the Master Ball from the President of Silph Co.
Get Great Ball sooner: Once you exit Mt. Moon (onto Route 4), walk to the right until you reach a small plateau with nothing on it. Once you reach the steps, go up two spaces and press A.
Free bike: Go to Vermilion City. Go to the Pokemon Club. Talk to the Rapidash man. He will give you a Bike Voucher. Go to the bike shop in Cerulean City. Talk to the man at the counter. He will trade your Bike Voucher for a bike.
Fissure (TM27): After defeating Giovanni for the Earth Badge, he gives you a TM: "Fissure". He will say that it destroys any Pokemon with one hit. It is useless against the Elite Four. (A "The Pokemon is unaffected" message will appear). Try not to teach it to Geodude or its evolutions because they can get killed too easily by many Pokemon.
Dig (TM28): Dig is very effective against Electric Pokemon, which helps get the Thunder Badge.
Mimic (TM31): Buy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart. Fly to Saffron City and enter the Copycat's house. Give her a pokedoll and will give you TM 31, which is Mimic.
Poke Flute: You get the Poke Flute by reaching Mr. Fuji on the seventh floor of the Pokemon Tower. You also need the Silph Scope to get that far.
Rock Slide (TM48): Go to Pallet Town and go inside the Pokemon department. Go to the top floor and a girl will say "I'm thristy". Buy a drink and give it to her to get Rock Slide.
Extra PP Up: While in the Power Plant next to Zapdos, go up and right. You will see two slots. The right one contains a PP up.
Bypass Snorlax and fishermen: This trick requires a Pokemon that knows SURF. To skip past the Snorlax on Route 12 (Lavender Town), travel along the route until you see it. Do not wake it up. Instead, use SURF to go around it. This can also be done for the fishermen on the docks.
Wild Squirtles: Go to Cinnabar Island, then Surf the east coast. If you are patient, you should find wild Squirtles. On rare occasions you can also find Wartortles, Rapidash, and Snorlax. Note: All those Pokemon are over level 100. As soon as you catch the Squirtle and use it, it will evolve into a Wartortle and revert its level to 100.
Moon Stone locations: There are five moon stones for Nidorina, Nidorian, Clefairy and Jigglypuff: 1. In upper left corner of Mt. Moon, first floor. 2. At Mt. Moon, before the fossils, walk down to right and search the dead end. Go to Mt. Moon and just before you get to Super Nerd, there is a walkway on the right that is one space wide and four spaces long. Go to the end and press A to find a Moon Stone. 3. In basement of Team Rocket's HQ in Celedon City. 4. Bottom right area of Route 2. CUT is required to obtain it. 5. Fly to Cinnabar Island and enter the Pokemon House. You will see boxes on both sides. Go to the fifth box on the right-hand side and press A.
Super Potion locations: The following Super Potions can be found before you have the Item Finder. A Super Potion is located immediately before you get to the Rock Tunnel. Use cut On the bush nearest to the entrance of the tunnel, then press A on the wall. Another Super Potion is directly behind Giovanni in that tape recorder-like object when you battle him under the Game Corner. Press A to get it.
Items in Vermilion City: There is a space that you can go through in Vermilion City that leads to a tree. Press A at that location to find a potion.
Items in Vermilion City (2): Use a water type Pokemon and go next to the building where you can trade a Spearow for a Farfetch. Go to the edge of the water and surf next to the building up one space. Then press A to get a Max Ether.
Items in Vermilion City (3): Go out towards the Snorlax. At two or three stones before him, go into them. A Super Potion is in one of them.
Items in Viridian City: Use a water type Pokemon and surf in the area above the gym. Surf up one space and look to the right. Press A to get Max Ether.
Items in Viridian Forest: When you walk into Viridian Forest, you will see a tree with someone in front of it. Go to the left side of the tree to find an Antidote.
Items in Celedon City: Go to the very bottom of the town, but not to Erika. Instead, go to your right and then up to the top. Press A to find a PP Up.
Items in Celedon City (2): Go in to the hotel. Approach to the desk, go all the way to the right, go down two screens, go up one screen and press A. A hidden computer will turn on.
Fishing In Cerulean Gym: Fly, or walk to Cerulean City. Go into the gym. When you enter, walk on the board walk and stand in front of any part of it. Get a Old, Good or Super Rod and you can fish.
Items in Cerulean City: There is a hidden item in the back of two long houses located in Cerulean City. Walk all around that area. While walking, keep pressing A until you find it.
Items in Cerulean City (2): Go to the first house at the top of the city and go out through the back. On the tile-looking floor, walk around two to five spaces away from the wall on the right side on the inside edge of the tiles. You should find a Rare Candy.
Finding more items: Go to either of the two underground paths. Use the Item Finder after entering to find items that people have dropped.
